Regardless of what the task is, she will dive into it and do the research necessary to deliver great new designs. She is also humble and a super fast learner, therefore picks up any feedback she gets to perfect her design ideas. What began as a guideline project has evolved into a partnership with our entire marketing team where she is handling our website, social media posts, ebooks, and more, even collaborating effectively with the website developer. Working with Silvia has boosted our brand consistency, and our collaboration with her has been incredibly beneficial.

When I contracted Silvia to create our logo and brand identity, Gecko was still just a concept. I had a vision for the brand, our products, and our values, but no idea how to visually represent it, and that’s when Silvia came in. Once she materialized my vision into a logo, it felt like everything that had only existed in my mind or on a business plan became real. That logo carried us from just an idea into a brand and now a global community. I knew that Silvia shared my interests in yoga and sustainability, and would be the best person to synthesize these big concepts into something simple, beautiful, and authentic. Working with Silvia was like spending time with an old friend. We went for dinner and wine and just talked about what I wanted for the brand, and why. She came back to me with 3 examples, and I knew instantly which one was right for this project. From there, she gave it a few slight tweaks, but since she was able to understand so well what I wanted to express, it didn’t take very long until the logo was perfect. I am as in love with my logo today as I was when I first saw it. It’s so timeless and functional and has been able to encompass all the new products and services the brand has started to offer since our beginning. To me it’s not just the representation of our brand, but a powerful symbol of following your heart to build something beautiful and transformative.
